Barter for your Reiki 1 certification (value $300)

 

ABOUT Ralph’s FREE REIKI 1 CLASS

  • Reiki is a healing technique that involves placing hands on (or over) a person to transfer energy and promote relaxation, stress reduction, and harmony.
  • You’ll receive your Reiki 1 certification after attending one class. With this, you can give Reiki to yourself, friends, family, pets, or set up a practice and earn an average of $50 per session.
  • Classes are taught by Rev. Ralph Hamelmann (Psychic Ralph), whose Reiki lineage is only five degrees from Reiki Father Usui Mikao. As Ralph’s student, your lineage will be an impressive six degrees from Usui.
  • Please respect this offer. If you reserve a spot and don’t attend, that space could have benefited someone else. No-shows may be blocked from future participation. Also, please make every effort to arrive on time for class.
  • These free classes are offered in person every other Sunday from 1pm–6pm at Ralph’s home (650 Parliament Street). You’ll receive Ralph’s full address in your Confirmation Email.
  • Classes held on the second Sunday of the month are for LGBTQ+ individuals and Straight Allies. Classes held on the fourth Sunday of each month are inclusive to everyone 🙂
  • Each class is capped at eight students. Book your spot below.
  • Each participant must bring a sugar-free, low fat, vegetarian dish for our potluck held at Ralph’s home immediately after the class (from 6pm-7pm). Eg. soup,  salad, dessert, baked goods, casserole, etc.

 

STEP 1: CHOOSE TWO TASKS TO BARTER
(NOTE: YOU’LL ONLY BE ASKED TO FULFILL ONE)

  • Below is a list of tasks Ralph occassionally needs help with.
  • In exchange for being certified as a Reiki 1 Practitioner, you must promise to complete one of these tasks within a year of taking our course. Ralph’s flexible with scheduling.
  • If none of these tasks suit you, or if you’re unable to honour this commitment, feel free to pay full price ($300) for your course.

REQUIREMENTS
Postering 50 posters in an assigned downtown Toronto neighbourhood. Please have a colour printer and provide thumb tacks and tape. Please don’t affix posters to street poles (this is illegal). You’ll go to shops, cafes, supermarkets, community centres, etc and ask permission to put up one of our posters. You’ll also affix posters on nearby public notice poles (see locations). Ralph will email a digital copy of this poster for you to print.
Driving Errands (you’ll cover gas costs) Three hours (combined). A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence & a car. Please live within 20 minutes of 650 Parliament Street.
Light Cleaning at Ralph’s Apartment Three 90-minute visits. Attention to detail; hard-working; able to follow directions.
Deep Cleaning at Ralph’s Apartment One five-hour visit. Attention to detail; hard-working; able to follow directions.
Massage (home visit) Two 90-minute sessions. Licensed, certified, or registered as a   Massage Therapist in Ontario.
IT Support (home visit) Four hours (combined). Extensive training/experience in computers.
Web Development Four hours (combined). Extensive training and professional experience in web development (HTML/CSS; WordPress or comparable CMS). Ability to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and optimize site performance. Must have a portfolio or examples of prior work.
Marketing for Psychic Ralph Four hours (combined). Social media and/or marketing expertise. 
Food prep and cooking (home visit) Two bulk meals (food & recipes provided). Professional experience or training as a chef.
Legal Advice Two hours. Licensed Ontario lawyer or paralegal in good standing who specializes in human rights, small business contracts, labour law, entertainment law, consumer protection, and/or drafting disclaimers for spiritual services.

STEP 2: REGISTER FOR YOUR COURSE

  • Complete the Registration Form below.
  • When you land on the Payment Page, click on the “+” sign next to “Package, gift or coupon code” and enter coupon code, FREEREIKI
  • To finalize your free booking, click on “CONTINUE WITH PAYPAL.” 
  • Once your booking is complete, you’ll receive an automated Confirmation Email with Ralph’s full address and a link to the notes for  your course. Please read these notes before coming to class. If you don’t receive this Confirmation Email, please check your “Junk Folder.”
  • Ralph also offers Reiki 2 for $300 and Reiki 3 (Master Level) for $600. Feel free to ask about this during your Reiki 1 class. Unfortunately, Ralph doesn’t offer barters for Reiki 2 or 3.
